Planes and Dreams

A reccuring dream that is dominating my life, as of late, has involved planes, trains and automobiles (sounds like a good title of a movie, oh wait...). So the conventional wisdom of dream interpretation suggests that I am in a transitional phase of life and that my dreams are reflecting the obstacles or issues that I encounter or the emotions that I experience in response to these changes. This is very possible, since I am considering moving and changing jobs. I also have personal ambitions that I am working on in my spare time. In addition, I have been experiencing some amount of restlessness at work. I often feel like I am underutilized at work, which leads me to seek outside sources to get the challenge that I crave.
Another common element of my dreams of late is that they frequently involve my mother and sister. Again, conventional wisdom would suggest that I need to listen to my emotions more, become more receptive and surrender to life circumstances rather than continue to strive against obstacles.
For two of my most recent dreams I have been worried about missing the plane, while my sister had made arrangements for the plane. She had to step in and help me make arrangments for the plane. So it seems, in both situations my dreams are telling me to rely on emotional connection and support to help me take advantage of opportunities to move ahead in life.
Another common theme that I've dreamt about recently is being worried that I don't have enough money to cover expenses. In two dreams I've taken out my wallet wondering if I would have enough money in it. The common interpretation of this dream would mean that I wonder if I "have what it takes" to be successful in whatever it is that I'm aspiring towards.
My dreams tend to be very practical and usually do not involve a lot of fantastical elements. So at least I know I'm not an ENFP! I have typed myself as an INFJ, however, that may be up for debate. I do notice that those with a higher Ni function have a tendency to dream in the third person. There is often a removed sense in their dreams. For me, I don't always dream in the third person, but sometimes I do observe myself from a removed viewpoint. Also, Ni dominant function personalities tend to have hedonistic, wish-fulfillment dreams, which is something that I frequently have. Usually, I'll dream of being at an all you can eat buffet (usually with pancakes involved, I love pancakes). I have those types of dreams at least once or twice a week.
I don't know, I could brush them off as my subconscious saying that I need to eat more pancakes. However, I tend to also think of it as that infamous Ni-Se tug-of-war that is pretty typical of Ni-dominant types (INFJ and INTJ). In other words, we are always aspiring to the exploratory sensation function despite our strong pull to act in a conscientious manner.
